my story. ish.
I’d like to think my work experience is as diverse as the chapters in my life. There’s always a new hurdle to get over, but my grind stays present through it all. I went to college for graphic design, started my career off sketching logos, designing homepages, and building e-mail blasts.
I moved to New York City with $150 to my name knowing no one. Nothing would stop me from doing what I wanted to do. I waited tables to get by and started hustling my side business. This launched me to start building content for social media as that started to take off in 2014. I created my own business, managing over 15 Instagram accounts, while juggling clients and expectations.

With design and social experience in my pocket, I was poached by Bumble to help them out with their influencer marketing team. I got hands on practice with managing contracts, dealing with lawyers, and seeking out the hottest trends on the internet. My background worked in my favor as I was able to understand how organically each influencer would fit into Bumble’s social goals. Fast forward two years and I was promoted to be their Brand Project Manager. I launched Bumble.shop, an externally facing retail store, collaborating with Dame, Aviator Nation, and Vogue.
With each new role, I’m able to take my eye for design and apply it to each project. From knowing how to thoughtfully critique and give feedback, to opening up photoshop and completing the task myself. Group projects were always my absolute favorite in school and that hasn’t changed since. I love to meet new people and cohesively figure out how to get a job done properly. Perhaps I can blame the Enneagram 7 or the Aries in me.
